Key Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and manage purchase and sale agreements, joint venture documents, and financing instruments.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and coordinate all aspects of deal closings.
- Partner with colleagues across practices to deliver integrated client service.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on commercial and legal risks.
- Maintain a proactive, solution-oriented approach to every transaction.
About You
- 3 to 5 years of real estate transactional experience at a top-tier or well-regarded firm.
- Strong academic background and J.D. from a nationally recognized law school.
- Admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility to waive in.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business judgment, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $260,000 to $365,000, commensurate with experience.
