Responsibilities

Safely operate a ready-mix truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites.

• Follow DOT requirements.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Follow instructions regarding the type and quantity of concrete to be delivered.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding any delivery updates or issues.
• Provide customer service by interacting professionally at construction sites.
• Ensure the proper handling and pouring of concrete to prevent spills or damage.
• Maintain clean interior and exterior truck.
• Assist with additional maintenance/cleaning duties in and around the plant location during down time.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders and stairs.
• Work in various weather conditions.
• Travel for potentially extended periods.

Qualifications

• Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
• Ability or willingness to learn how to operate and maintain a ready-mix concrete truck.
• Communication skills.
• Comfortable with learning or using GPS.
• Willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
