About the role

The Senior Front-End / Mobile Developer will support the development of a next-generation design system component library, guiding technical decisions, upholding high standards for code quality, and helping design scalable application architectures for both mobile and web platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications with a focus on performance, usability, and reliability.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable application architectures.
  • Develop and extend a design system component library.
  • Ensure cross-platform compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
  • Partner with backend developers to define API contracts and integration strategies.
  • Perform and lead code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, QA, and UX/UI team members in an agile environment.
  • Coordinate releases with other development squads.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of web and mobile application development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with React Native and ReactJS.
  • Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems.
  • Proficiency in consuming RESTful JSON APIs.
  • Strong front-end architecture skills and experience with responsive design and accessibility standards.
  • Experience working in large-scale, distributed agile development environments.
  • Deep understanding of optimizing React Native applications for iOS and Android.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with monorepos.
  • Experience developing for large-scale, consumer-facing applications.
  • Knowledge of Redux and React Native Web.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team.
  • Knowledge of C# (a plus).
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or with EHR systems like Epic (a plus).
