About the Role

At TELUS Health, we blend passion with technology to create innovative solutions in the wellbeing and health sector. The TELUS Health App is a Total Wellbeing Platform sold to companies globally, serving as the first port of call for employees to access support, help, and advice on issues affecting their work and home lives. Features include:

Our platform is expanding globally, presenting new challenges such as distributed data storage, processing, and performance improvements. You will work at every stage of the software development life cycle—designing solutions, writing and testing code, and automating deployments—while collaborating with web, iOS, Android, QA, infrastructure, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop React components that align with our health and wellbeing vision, ensuring a user-centric and intuitive experience
• Work collaboratively, integrating GraphQL and Apollo for fluid data flow in our health solutions
• Uphold code excellence to ensure platform reliability and resonance for users
• Stay agile and proactive, consistently rolling out health tech innovations

Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of front-end development experience
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with ReactJS / Redux or Apollo
• Proficiency in Sass (SCSS) for crafting visually compelling and responsive designs
• Knowledge of Git workflows and best practices
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
• Experience releasing to the Apple Store and Google Play Store in React (required)

Nice to Have

• Exposure to TypeScript, GraphQL, and Jest
• Knowledge of Webpack / Vite for optimal code bundling
• Understanding of Web Application Security best practices
• Exposure to AWS / Google Cloud services
• Experience with localization tools (e.g., Lokalise)
• Experience working with agile methodology
• Knowledge of and proven experience using AI tooling

Pay

Compensation Range: $90K - $100K
