Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach stackers to load, unload, move, and stack loaded and empty containers.
• Transfer containers between trucks, chassis, railcars, and storage locations while maintaining efficient yard organization.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Complete operational paperwork and electronic documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and yard personnel regarding container movements.
• Assist with yard housekeeping, traffic control, and other operational support activities as needed.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of reach stacker or heavy equipment operating experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check, drug screening, and required safety training.
• Knowledge of container handling operations, yard logistics, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to safe operations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, climb equipment ladders, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to maintain clear vision and depth perception for safe equipment operation.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, overtime, and other schedules as required.

Pay

$35.00 per hour
