Responsibilities

• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation method.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.
• Work in seasonal warehouse conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Forklift certification preferred; experience with sit-down and propane forklifts is a plus.
• Knowledge of typical shipping and receiving procedures, including handling exceptions.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record may be required.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Schedule

Hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime.

Pay

The starting pay range for this hourly non-exempt role is $18–$23 per hour, depending on geography, market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Eligible for overtime when working more than 40 hours in a week (or as required by state law).
