RCM Business Analyst
Job Summary
The RCM Business Analyst focuses on optimizing operational efficiency and financial performance, as well as executing strategic transformation initiatives throughout Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations.

Essential Job Functions
- Process Analysis & Improvement
- Identifying areas for improvement in RCM processes, implementing changes, and monitoring their impact.
- Evaluating critical process opportunities for improvement and proposing tangible solutions to prevent recurring errors.
- Gathering operational and workflow requirements to document, implement, and monitor workflow processes.
- Identification of root cause(s) of workflow/process incident management.
- Developing, proposing, and organizing initiatives related to RCM process improvement.
- Creating and enhancing the automation of the technical workflows, and providing monitoring/stabilization of current business processes.
- Continuous review of RCM workflows and processes.
- Documentation & Communication
- Creating and maintaining documentation like protocols and process maps and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Documenting detailed technical design for workflow automation, end-user documentation, and job aids.
- Training in new processes and protocols.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with leadership.
- Data Analysis
- Analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in the RCM process.
- Running and analyzing reporting as needed.
- Technology Support
- Monitoring new workflows and processes to ensure success.
- Practice management maintenance related to RCM.
- Create and support workflow tools such as Smartsheet.
- Project Management & Support
- Leading or assisting with RCM transformation initiatives, such as implementing new systems, redesigning workflows, and optimizing technology.
- Creating and executing project management plans.
- Defining scopes for revenue cycle and/or company initiatives.
- Setting and tracking project objectives.
- Ensuring all project deliverables are completed and formally closed.
- Communicating project timelines and milestones.
- Making sure project progress is monitored and assist with setting deadlines.
- Presenting status updates.
- Completing special projects and providing project support as requested by senior leadership.

Physical Demands
- Demonstrated ability to do excessive walking, standing, bending, and stooping.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, kneel, and crouch.
- The employee may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (50-90 pounds).

Travel
This is a full-time remote position. Location: Remote in AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, MI, MO, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA
Hours of Work
Typical days and hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Remote work may be considered for this position.
Education and Experience
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Healthcare revenue cycle experience (minimum of 1 year) is preferred.
