Responsibilities
- Create claims invoices to 3rd party insurance carriers for commercial products
- Maintain and report personal KPI data to Manager on a weekly basis
- Submit both paper and electronic claims in Acuity Logic for specified plans to 3rd party carriers
- Monitor aging to ensure proper and timely payment
- Interpret and follow up on claim denials from 3rd Party carriers
- Develop expertise in specific plans and act as a resource for questions
- Assist AR Manager and Commercial Claim Supervisor on special projects
- Communicate system, site, and billing company issues to the AR Manager
- Aid retail units with billing questions
- Make recommendations for process improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year AR experience with 3rd party billing
- Entry level PC skills in MS Windows, Word, and Excel
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
