RCM AI Compliance Director

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Review technical requirements to ensure compliance with billing regulations
• Determine compliant data for modeling while ensuring privacy and integrity
• Review and approve AI recommendations, defining necessary guardrails
• Continuously assess the regulatory landscape for risk identification
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and RCM Operations to align on AI risk tolerance
• Maintain documented compliance controls for AI workflows and aid internal audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Master's degree strongly preferred
• 10+ years in RCM, healthcare coding, compliance, or billing
• Hands-on experience in billing and healthcare operations
• Deep understanding of RCM workflows and compliance risk management
• Proven experience implementing compliance programs in high-tech or AI-driven environments
• Ability to convert vague compliance guidelines into technical policies

Pay

$130,000 – $160,000 annually
