About the role
The Looking Glass Regional Crisis Center (RCC) is a PRTS/Subacute residential facility that contracts solely with DHS Child Welfare to provide assessment and evaluation to youth in child welfare custody. RCC provides a safe and comfortable living environment, mental health treatment, family therapy, skill building, and on-site nursing and educational services.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health assessment and treatment for up to seven youths.
- Develop individualized service plans.
- Provide individual and family therapy.
- Facilitate treatment groups.
- Document services in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a closely related field.
- Certified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
- At least two years of experience working with adolescents with acute mental health or behavioral issues.
- Knowledge of the DSM 5 and issues related to youth in residential and/or day treatment programs.
- Ability to practice trauma-informed care.
- Understanding of developmental issues in various stages of life.
- Understanding of mental illness.
- Experience operating within a systemic framework.
Qualifications

Pay
$85k-$95k for unlicensed; $95k-$105k for licensed therapists.
