This is a potential future opening for a talented RC-135 Operations Airborne Systems Engineer (ASE) 1, 3, or 5 Training Specialists at Offutt AFB, NE.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-tier academic, simulator, and inflight training to ASE operators for RC-135 fleets.
- Align training with FAA standards, ICAO guidelines, technical orders, and DoD/USAF directives to ensure training excellence.
- Incorporate safety and emergency procedures alongside ASE-specific duties to craft well-rounded, effective aircrew training.
- Provide critical data and analytics on training achievements, needs, and efficiency through detailed daily and monthly metrics.
- Support Combat Training Squadron (CTS) and FTU leadership with actionable insights that drive success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Flew on the RC-135 within the past 4 years, with deep knowledge of its operations.
- Ability to maintain all requirements to fly as an instructor onboard the RC-135 aircraft, including completing all annual training, maintaining a current flight physical, and re-accomplishing an evaluation for the position every 18 months.
- CFIC certification.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance on day 1.

Pay
Pay Range: $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
