RBT Facilitator

Support the development of ABA Therapists and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) through coaching in clinical settings while remaining actively engaged in direct patient sessions.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care & Coaching Integration: Provide direct care while embedding frequent learning opportunities for trainees by modeling and narrating effective implementation of ABA interventions and providing coaching to support skill development.
• New Hire Readiness and Certification Support: Assist new hires in progressing through onboarding and preparing for the RBT competency assessment and certification requirements within expected timelines.
• Performance Observation, Feedback & Documentation:
  • Observe ABA Therapist and RBT performance and deliver timely, behavior-specific feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including session notes, coaching/feedback records, and supervision tracking.
  • Communicate progress and performance trends to Center Managers and BCBAs.
• Ongoing Staff Development & Clinical Modeling: Provide continuous coaching and modeling to support skill development, reinforce best practices, and promote consistency in service delivery.
• Collaboration with Leadership:
  • Partner with Clinic Managers and BCBAs to identify staff development needs and support performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with Virtual Trainers and RBT Training Coordinator to align on coaching expectations and maintain consistency in training practices.
• Professional Standards & Continuous Learning: Maintain current knowledge of ABA practices, demonstrate professionalism, and support a culture of accountability and high-quality care.
• Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change with or without notice.

Requirements

• Active RBT credential required.
• At least 6 months of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to implement ABA strategies in clinical sessions.
• Experience coaching others in behavior analytic skills, including prior training, presenting, or facilitation (preferred experience presenting to large groups).
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and curriculum for children diagnosed with ASD, including:
  • Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
  • Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT)
  • Prompting and prompt fading strategies
  • Error correction procedures
  • Differential reinforcement
  • Pivotal Response Training (PRT)
• Proficiency with Android tablet systems and software used at Hopebridge, including:
  • Office 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • HB Charts
  • ReThink

Preferred Qualifications

• College coursework in behavior analysis, psychology, education, early education, or a related field.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Work Environment

• Clinical environment with potential stressors due to a busy clinic setting and patient interactions.
• Exposure to prolonged loud noises.
• Constant and interruptive interaction with others.

Physical Demands

• Frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• May require lifting, carrying, running, walking, climbing, kneeling, twisting, pulling/pushing, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder.
• May need to lift pediatric patients (up to 50 lbs).
