Who Thrives as an RBT at SCCD? You don't need to be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team—we provide paid training and support to help you earn your credential. Successful team members come from a variety of backgrounds, including psychology, education, special education, early childhood education, social work, human services, childcare, and other helping professions. Role Overview: As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with SCCD, you'll provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children ages 2–7 in our supportive preschool environment. Working alongside experienced BCBAs and fellow RBTs, you'll implement individualized treatment plans, teach meaningful skills, and support children in reaching their developmental goals. Key Responsibilities Deliver one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism, following individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs), collect accurate session data, and monitor client progress toward treatment goals.Foster communication, play, daily living, and social skills through engaging, evidence-based interventions.Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and caregivers to support consistent, high-quality care and make treatment adjustments as needed.Maintain accurate and timely documentation while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, company policies, and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Ethics Code.Create a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment that encourages client growth, independence, and success. What We're Looking For A passion for working with young children and supporting individuals with autism and other developmental differences.A compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to helping children learn and grow.Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is preferred but not required—we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with families and clinical staff.A dependable, professional, and growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality, ethical care.A positive attitude and dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for clients, families, and fellow team members. Schedule Options: Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours/week salaried position).Part-Time: Flexible scheduling options available (20 hours/week hourly position; morning or afternoon shifts).
