Job Posting Title: RBR Ranch Hand (San Angelo) Location: San Angelo - Ranch Operations Additional Posting Details: Monday - Sunday As required Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Serve as steward of all land and improvements located within the boundaries of the line-camp areaAssist with the management of both the livestock and wildlife enterprisesRepresent the Rocker b Ranch and Scottish Rite for Children in a professional mannerWork with minimal supervisionOperate heavy equipment and the portable welder in a safe mannerMake repairs to fences, water wells, equipment, and buildings located within the area of the line-campMaintain an accurate inventory of all livestock within the line-camp pasturesAdminister a sound health program to all livestock located within the area of the line-camp, performing health related procedures as necessaryTrain, ride, and shoe both young and old horsesMonitor and maintain livestock and wildlife watering facilities to ensure an ample supply of quality waterMonitor wildlife activity and conduct spot surveys to determine wildlife populationsCommit to all Care Rite Core Values Required Skills/Abilities High school diploma or equivalent preferredWorking knowledge of livestock and wildlife managementGeneral knowledge of livestock health and minor veterinary skillsBasic knowledge of operation and maintenance of windmills and electric pump Working Environment Working Conditions: OutsideWorking Position: Sitting, Standing, WalkingPhysical Demands: Very HeavyPhysical Requirements: Lifting/Carrying, Pushing/Pulling, Repetitive Movement, Stooping/Kneeling/Bending, BalancingAn Individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in this group: 75-100lbsSensory/Communicative activities essential to the performance of this position: Feeling, Hearing, Seeing, Smelling, SpeakingAn Individual in this position will be exposed to: Outside environment, Bloodborne pathogens, Loud Noise
