Raw Receiving Operator (Crew A) Ontario, OR

About the role

The position is responsible for the unloading of trucks as they arrive at the plant with raw product.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw product into designated bays and bins in an efficient, safe, and timely manner.
• Safely pull inspection samples from each truckload according to proper procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the receiving area.
• Ensure an even and adequate flow of raw product from receiving bays into the plant.
• Control pit water and maintain the proper blend system as instructed by the team leader.
• Operate all equipment between bays and Form line bins.
• Keep rocks cleared from flumes, clean rock traps, and remove potatoes from the rock take-away belt.
• Collect and evaluate elimination and re-elimination samples.
• Perform sanitation operations efficiently to meet company standards.
• Attend and participate in training activities appropriate to the position.
• Follow safe work practices and policies to prevent injuries to self or others.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and the Union Labor Agreement.
• Interact with team members and support groups in a participative management style.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct that meets company standards.
• Handle additional accountabilities as required by management.
• Complete and maintain certification for the safe operation of lift trucks (per WAC 296-24-230 and WAC 296-24-23025).
• Complete and maintain fall protection training and meet fall restraint requirements (per WAC 296-155-245 through 24525 and WAC 296-24-75005).

Schedule

Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay

$24.04 per hour

Overtime is common and may be required to meet operational goals. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
