Precise Focus

  • Controlled pumping of particular poly resins from railcars to specific silos
  • Accurate unloading and receiving of raw materials
  • Assist planning, purchasing and production departments with raw material needs and requests
  • Daily accuracy checks and updating of railcar maps
  • Uses RF functions using various PIT vehicles as needed
  • Trains on troubleshooting minor issues with resin pumps
  • Maintains pumps and equipment as needed
  • Calculates accurate tallies and documentation during the loading, unloading, and warehouse process
  • Inspects all equipment used on a daily basis and reports defects to Management
  • Maintains an efficient product flow throughout the warehouse operation
  • Maintains good housekeeping of the warehouse area and rail yard
  • Provides accurate and legible paperwork to maintain an accurate database
  • Ensures the integrity and accuracy of all inventories on a daily basis
  • Operates the Radio Frequency Gun to conduct movements, barcode, and inventories
  • Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times
  • Insures the quality of the palletized product and stores it in accordance to warehouse policies and procedures
  • Assists in the performance of preventative maintenance
  • Provides accurate and legible documentation of any issues and concerns
  • Provides accurate and legible documentation of product changes
  • Fulfills the proper procedures of Lock Out Tags policy

Physical Requirements

  • Walk/stand 100% of time during a 12-hour shift
  • Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting throughout shift
  • Occasional climbing and reaching overhead during shift
  • Frequent pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout shift, including materials requiring up to 75lbs of force to maneuver
  • Frequent lifting or carrying up to 50lbs
  • Constant use of hands and occasional use of foot control
  • Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift
  • Operation of cranes, hoists, hand trucks and roll manipulators throughout shift
  • Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area
  • Occasional climbing of steps
  • Balance required for some tasks
  • Ability to work in harsh environments including rain, snow, wind and inclement weather

Work Environment

  • Noisy environment requiring hearing protection
  • Manufacturing environment requiring safety shoes and safety glasses
  • Outdoor work environment in various weather conditions as required
  • Other PPE required based upon specific tasks

Training

This is a day-shift position; however, initial training for the pumper role will require the selected individual to work the night shift to receive specialized instruction from a designated mentor. Training will take place until completion of required skills and proficiency. Once training is finished, the individual will transition to their assigned day-shift position in the pumper role.
