About the role
Responsible for handling raw ingredients in a food processing facility. Duties include receiving, storing, and distributing ingredients as needed.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming raw ingredients for quality and quantity.
- Store ingredients in designated areas according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Distribute ingredients to production lines as required.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during ingredient handling.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in food industry or similar roles preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good physical condition.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Skills
- Forklift operation certification (preferred).
- Basic computer literacy.
