Responsibilities

• Patrol weaving machines, inspect woven cloth, repair warp, filling and certain mechanical stops, and report mechanical malfunctions to the weave machine technician.
• Receive assignment layout and instructions for the assigned set at the beginning of the shift.
• Receive information from the previous shift weaver regarding the general condition of the set.
• Repair all yarn stops and certain mechanical‑related stops.
• Record and flag any mechanical malfunction for weaving machines.
• Patrol assigned looms, inspecting for quality and locating possible machine malfunctions; perform minor preventative maintenance as necessary to achieve optimum efficiency and quality levels.
• Check filling changes for correct filling lots and yarn description from the label.
• Post required information on warp‑out and smash boards, and enter data into the watchdog loom monitoring system.
• Observe all safety precautions in performance of the job.
• Perform other functions that may be assigned.
