Ranger

Responsibilities

• Lead RVs to sites, ensuring proper placement within individual site areas
• Auxiliary guests with site set-up as needed
• Check transient sites daily for departures
• Remove trash from recently vacated transient sites
• Monitor all sites for issues or problems (i.e. water, sewer, hornets, etc.) and report to the RV Resort Manager
• Communicate with guests regarding issues and concerns
• Patrol the resort frequently to assist guests and treat sites for fire ant infestation as requested
• Inspect tie-downs for cleanliness, rust, damage, and other problems before permitting their sale
• Complete site measurements as requested
• Deliver special packages and/or one-day mail to appropriate sites
• Assist with coverage of the main gate when needed
• Routinely check swimming pools for unregistered guests, if applicable
• Tag vehicles for removal by owners at unrented transient sites
• Follow safety procedures while performing duties

Requirements

• Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet use
• Flexibility to work events during non-business hours
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance
