Responsibilities

• Walking or patrolling the campground grounds to answer questions, enforce rules, and ensure guest safety.
• Handling stressful situations calmly and reacting according to local, state, and federal laws.
• Maintaining the property by monitoring for issues and securing it.
• Ensuring guests comply with resort rules, addressing concerns, and contacting law enforcement if needed.
• Validating guest access at the campground gate and selling day passes and items at the store.
• Prioritizing guest safety and happiness.
• Performing on-call emergency services as required.
• Completing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• The ability to use computer applications.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Able to assess situations, make quick judgments, and resolve problems diplomatically.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in security or law enforcement, or in an RV environment, is beneficial.
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Able to work weekends and holidays regularly.

Pay

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of CA, WA, NY, and CO is $16.28 - $16.28 per hour. The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
