About the role
ELS is the ideal organization for developing a long and successful career. The Campground Ranger position in Silver Creek, Washington involves walking or patrolling the campground grounds, answering questions, enforcing rules, ensuring guest safety, and managing various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the property with a keen eye for any property issues or potential problems.
- Ensure the property is properly secured.
- Ensure guests comply with resort rules, respond to areas of concern, and contact law enforcement if necessary.
- Maintain order at the campground gate, validate guest access, and perform routine patrols.
- Inspect golf carts and rentals.
- Take camping reservations, check guests in and out, and sell day passes and items at the store.
- Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
- Perform on-call emergency services as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- The ability to use computer applications.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Quick and reasonable problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or RV environments is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Able to work weekends and holidays regularly.

Pay
Hourly compensation ranges from $17.13 to $17.13, depending on factors such as education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and market data. Some positions may also be eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
Schedule
Positions typically require weekend and holiday availability.
