ELS is the ideal organization in which to develop a long and successful career. ELS is hiring for the position of Ranger in Welches, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Walking or patrolling the grounds of the campground
• Answering questions and enforcing rules
• Ensuring the safety of guests and their belongings
• Maintaining the property with a keen eye for any issues or problems
• Securing the property
• Ensuring guests comply with resort rules and responding to concerns
• Validating guest access through the campground gate
• Performing routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections
• Taking camping reservations, checking in and out guests, and selling day passes and items at the store
• Prioritizing guest safety and happiness
• Providing on-call emergency services as required
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• The ability to use computer applications
• The ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
• The ability to assess situations, make quick judgments, and resolve problems diplomatically
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or RV environments is beneficial
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance
• The ability to work weekends and holidays regularly
