Range Safety and Flight Termination Engineer

About the role

The Range Safety and Flight Termination Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safety of all flight operations and equipment. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing safety protocols, and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Conducting risk assessments and implementing safety protocols for flight operations.
• Developing emergency response plans and procedures.
• Monitoring equipment performance and making necessary adjustments to ensure safety.
• Responding to and managing flight emergencies.
• Collaborating with other departments to improve safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering or related field.
• Experience with flight termination systems and range safety protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
