Ranch Laborer - Sandy Mush 1 Ranch

Pay

$17.50 per hour. Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am and 4:59am.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining day-to-day operations of the ranch and its fryers, including feeding, mortality removal, equipment adjustments, and sanitation.
• Support the grow-out program to ensure ranch setup, brooding, temperatures, ventilation, mortality, vaccination, and medication meet quality and productivity standards.
• Coordinate feed deliveries, maintain accurate feed and fuel inventories, and ensure proper growing methods.
• Maintain facilities and equipment for optimal usage and appearance.
• Assist with sanitation conditions and disease protection procedures.
• Maintain awareness of industrial safety, animal welfare, and bio-security; report issues to the Ranch Manager or Field Supervisor.

Requirements

• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good mathematical and organizational skills.
• Able to lift and move 25 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills (basic English).
• Ability to learn supervisory and leadership skills.
• Available to work as scheduled, including overtime, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to follow company standards, guidelines, and policies.
• Willingness to work at other ranches or complexes as needed.
