Ramp Agent — Fort Lauderdale, FL (FLL)

Swissport, a global leader in aviation services, is hiring at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (300 Terminal Drive), located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale's Haitian community.

About the role

The Ramp Agent provides under-wing ground support, including:

• Marshalling aircraft during arrival and departure
• Loading and unloading baggage and cargo onto carts and dollies
• Delivering bags to the claim conveyor
• Servicing aircraft water and lavatory systems

Agents operate ground support equipment such as tow tractors, belt loaders, baggage tugs, and passenger vans.

Responsibilities

• Guide aircraft during arrival and departure
• Load and unload baggage and cargo using appropriate equipment
• Transport baggage to the claim conveyor area
• Service aircraft water and lavatory systems
• Operate and maintain ground support equipment
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather
• Flexible availability for shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Previous ramp experience is a plus but not required.

Pay

$20.13 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time with shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
