About the role

As part of the Product Management team, you will manage the full product life cycle—from development to production—for the knits category within the Polo brand for Mens. You will collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Raw Materials Teams, Sourcing Offices, Factories, and Mills to ensure product integrity from salesman sample to bulk production. The role supports the execution of the product strategy, optimizing value in terms of product, price, lead-time, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Board Review with Design and Merchandising to establish product pipeline, risk assessment, and TD track (high/medium/low touch).
  • Engage in Hand Offs with Product Design; follow up to ensure all necessary information is received for Tech Pack creation within calendar milestones.
  • Set up and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) in PLM, including initial creation based on design Hand Off and updates through showroom samples to stock approval/OK to buy/production ready.
  • Attend meetings with regional sourcing offices to handoff seasonal line sheets, communicate product execution expectations, and align on sample timing.
  • Participate in weekly WIP (Work-in-Progress) fit meetings.
  • Track and monitor requests with sourcing offices for trim, artwork, wash submits, lab dips, etc.
  • Collaborate with sourcing offices to develop counter-source raw materials and components as needed.
  • Partner with Design and PMT manager on all design approvals and comments.
  • Track, monitor, and unpack showroom samples; provide weekly sample status updates.
  • Troubleshoot with customs and small parcel teams as needed.
  • Review and update all costs from initial to final stages in PLM Cost Extension; ensure accurate data flows to GFE and o9 systems.
  • Analyze product costing with PMT manager, address costing concerns, and identify opportunities for product engineering.
  • Present product costing, year-over-year cost comparisons, and cost-saving options in seasonal cross-functional cost meetings.
  • Review Time & Action files with PMT manager and upload buy dates into GFE system.
  • Action weekly buys in GFE and SAP systems; follow through to PO creation with sourcing offices.
  • Maintain and input system data to support all functions in corporate systems (PLM, GFE, SAP).
  • Run weekly system checks for missing data and data integrity.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in production and product development across the full product life cycle, from design vision to production-ready.
  • Technical knowledge of product components, including fabrics and trim.
  • Experience working on knit categories is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners (Design, Tech, Regional Buying, Sourcing Offices).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, FlexPLM, SAP, and GFE+.

Schedule

In-office minimum 3 days per week; more frequent in-office presence may be required depending on the season.
