Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment and rail-support machinery used in track maintenance operations
- Aid with tie replacement, track repair, surfacing, and other railroad maintenance activities
- Follow Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) regulations, company safety procedures, and job-site expectations
- Identify equipment issues, track defects, and safety concerns while collaborating with crew members
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of railroad track maintenance or Maintenance of Way (MOW) experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment in railroad or track environments
- Strong safety mindset and dependable work history
- Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions and varying weather environments
- Effective teamwork and ability to work in a fast-paced field environment
