Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy equipment and rail-support machinery used in track maintenance operations
  • Aid with tie replacement, track repair, surfacing, and other railroad maintenance activities
  • Follow Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) regulations, company safety procedures, and job-site expectations
  • Identify equipment issues, track defects, and safety concerns while collaborating with crew members

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of railroad track maintenance or Maintenance of Way (MOW) experience
  • Experience operating heavy equipment in railroad or track environments
  • Strong safety mindset and dependable work history
  • Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions and varying weather environments
  • Effective teamwork and ability to work in a fast-paced field environment
