Rail Yard Worker

About the role

PRS Auto is seeking individuals to unload (drive) new automobiles off of Railcars at the CSX West Columbia, SC rail terminal. The terminal location is at PRS Auto (CSX West Columbia Railroad), 3450 Charleston Hwy, W. Columbia, SC 29172.

Responsibilities

• Unload new automobiles from rail cars.
• Work first shift with flexible start and finish times.
• Be available for work on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Driver's License.
• Pass a 7-year background check and a drug test.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs above your head.
• Able to climb various heights (not afraid of heights).

Qualifications

No GED or High School Diploma is required.

Skills

None specifically listed, but strong physical fitness and ability to follow directions are important.

Pay

$14.50 starting rate.
