About the role

We are seeking a Project Director with experience in Transit Facilities, ADA Improvements, and State-of-Good-Repair to join our Rails and Transit team in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Grow, nurture, and strengthen external relationships with key clients, contractors, business partners, and competitors. Drive joint initiatives and use networks to influence and close deals.
  • Oversee the delivery of complex projects (e.g. design-build and GEC), ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Act as a role model and ambassador for the company, representing the brand, vision, and value proposition both internally and externally.
  • Build and maintain strong networks with clients including public agencies and/or contractors, manage client accounts, and create a client-centric vision for business development.
  • Lead proposals and business development efforts.
  • Establish and nurture an innovative, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for a master's degree.
  • P.E. or R.A. License in New York State.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in the transportation market.
  • Experience in the development of rail infrastructure projects.
  • Direct experience with project management and business development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay

Expected compensation range is between $130,000- $216,600 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
