Radiology Technology Assistant - Part Time - Midnights

About the Role

Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of clerical, technical, and patient-related duties according to established protocols. The Radiology Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting members of the Radiology team and providing a broad range of health care services, including patient check-in, exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams/procedures, and patient transporting. May be assigned to work in a variety of imaging sections, assist multiple radiology modalities, and/or clinical services per operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Radiology team with patient check-in and exam review.
• Prepare patients for visits and provide patient education.
• Assist with exams and procedures.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Work across various imaging sections and radiology modalities based on operational needs.
• Perform related duties as required.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Medical knowledge and terminology preferred.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensures

• Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required upon hire or during orientation.
