Radiology Technology Assistant - Part Time - Days

Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of clerical, technical, and patient-related duties according to established protocols. Assists members of the Radiology team and provides a broad range of health care services such as patient check-in, exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams/procedures, and patient transporting. May be assigned to work in a variety of imaging sections, assist multiple radiology modalities, and/or clinical services per operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clerical, technical, and patient-related duties following established protocols.
• Support the Radiology team by handling patient check-in and exam review.
• Prepare patients for visits, provide education, and assist with exams/procedures.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Work across various imaging sections and assist with multiple radiology modalities or clinical services based on operational needs.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Medical knowledge and terminology preferred.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required upon hire or during orientation.

Schedule

• 24 hours per week.
• Day shift.
• Eligible for part-time benefits.
