Job Summary

Performs all duties of a Radiology Technologist applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology, as well as oversees the general operation of the department as assigned and with a variety of technical procedures. Regulates the equipment used to expose the radiographic images and utilizes PACS. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures. Provides patient care during imaging procedures.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Vocational School Graduate
