About the role
This is a technical position requiring education in the field of radiology technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic examinations
- Assist radiologists and other physicians during fluoroscopic studies
- Perform exams in the operating room and the emergency room
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of School of Radiological Technology
- Experience: Graduate from an approved two-year radiology program
- Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: American Registry of Radiology Technology and BLS required
Qualifications
- Equipment/Tools/Work Aids: Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment, computers, image processing equipment
- Specialized Skills: Proficiency in radiological technology
Physical Requirements
- Job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and pushing in excess of twenty-five pounds
