About the role
We are seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team in Batesville, AR.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including patient positioning and body mechanics, ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, develop films, and prepare treatment rooms with necessary supplies.
- Assist with Medical Assistant duties such as obtaining patient vital signs, medical history, and supporting patient transfers.
- Communicate effectively with patients, provide instructions, and address concerns promptly.
- Follow documentation procedures and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory protocols.
- Maintain current licensure and certification, and ensure equipment is operational and safe.
- Support patient care by assisting with procedures under provider supervision and executing quality control measures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
Key Duties
- Providing patient-centered care, ensuring safety, and maintaining documentation accuracy.
- Assisting with patient transfers and procedures, and ensuring radiology equipment functions properly.
- Continuously updating imaging knowledge and skills to improve diagnostic services.
