About the role
We are seeking a Special Procedures Technologist responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity
- Prepare and monitor patients
- Assist in scrubbing procedures
- Ensure radiation safety standards
- Operate intravenous dye injectors and PACS systems
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Physical endurance for standing, walking, and bending
Qualifications
- Vascular Interventional certification (preferred)
