About the Role
This role involves providing X-Ray services to patients within the student scope of practice, supporting imaging procedures under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Select exposure factors and assist technologists and physicians during imaging procedures.
- Follow radiation safety standards.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications per regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department environment.
- Perform duties with alertness and safety awareness.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited radiology school (no prior experience required).
- Must hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Qualifications
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move patients and equipment frequently.
- Good vision and hearing.
- Ability to reach, grip, and perform repetitive movements.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Additional Details
Work locations include Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin. Weekend shift availability is required.
