About the Role
NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Radiology Technician (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO) who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities
- Performs radiology duties within the scope of practice as defined by NextCare Policies and Procedures and state Radiation Rules and Regulations.
- Assists providers with exams (including patient vitals), procedures, and other direct patient care tasks under the provider’s direct supervision and within the scope of practice.
- Administers medications per policy and under provider direction, adhering to all safety protocols for medication administration.
- May collect urine samples for testing, including employer drug screens.
- Performs splinting and casting as needed.
- Conducts various physicals, such as sports physicals.
- Handles other urgent care-specific duties as required.
- Reports unusual patient occurrences, including medication events, via incident reports and notifies the provider on duty promptly.
- Immediately notifies the Clinic Manager of any patient or employee safety concerns.
- Follows laboratory and clinical accreditation policies and guidelines.
- Demonstrates proficiency in EMR/EHR systems.
- Performs additional duties as assigned or described by company policy.

Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited radiology school and/or equivalent experience.
- Certified Radiology Technician (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO) license.
- Current healthcare professional-level CPR certification (issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety Health Institute, or National Safety Council).

Pay
Salary Range: $29–$31 per hour.
