Radiology Technologist PRN

Role Overview The Radiology Technologist operates imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, supporting physicians in disease diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities Conduct radiologic procedures using proper techniques and safety protocols as directed by a licensed physician.Determine and set appropriate technical parameters for each patient.Develop and implement procedure and treatment plans following established hospital guidelines.Ensure documentation complies with hospital policies.Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition to ensure patient and staff safety.Participate in quality improvement activities and collect data to monitor performance standards.Complete assigned goals and perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited radiology program; current ARRT(R) registration or eligibility, with a preference for an associate degree.Strong understanding of radiologic principles and techniques, with the ability to follow instructions and organize work efficiently.Licensure including ARRT(R), BLS certification, and state licensing as required.
