Radiology Technologist - PRN

About the role

Performs radiographic exams across all modalities within licensed scope, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Conducts radiologic procedures following standards, positioning equipment, and instructing patients.
• Ensures optimal image quality and adheres to radiation safety protocols, including proper shielding and equipment use.
• Operates radiographic equipment safely and accurately, including contrast media preparation and administration.
• Communicates effectively with patients to explain procedures, reduce anxiety, and recognize adverse reactions.
• Maintains compliance with HIPAA regulations, safeguarding patient information, and following safety practices.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a radiographer in the state.
• Knowledge of radiographic techniques, safety procedures, and patient care across age groups.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Physical ability to perform duties requiring light physical effort, including standing, walking, and handling equipment.
