Radiology Technologist - PRN

Job Summary Operates radiology equipment to perform routine diagnostic procedures based on physician prescriptions, adhering to established standards to support diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Performs radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety protocols.Utilizes judgment to select and set equipment parameters for each patient.Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following hospital guidelines.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.Participates in performance improvement activities and monitors quality data.Achieves assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology Program or related education.Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography or eligibility as a new graduate.Strong understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning.Ability to follow instructions, organize work, and ensure safety.Valid ARRT(R) certification, BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and state licensure as required.
