Radiology Technologist , PRN
About the Role
Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia is looking for an experienced Radiology Tech to join their team in a PRN (various shifts) position. Must be available to work any shift, including night shifts, when needed.
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
- Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
- Perform angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats.
Requirements
- Registered with ARRT (or registry eligible if a recent Radiology program graduate).
- Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
- One year experience in a hospital environment preferred.
