About the role
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging examinations to produce high-quality images for clinical assessment.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment accurately based on patient cases and provider requests.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Deliver excellent patient care and education throughout the imaging process.
- Navigate electronic medical records effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, potentially including mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA scans.
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of an ARRT-approved educational program and ARRT registration required.
- Knowledge of radiographic principles, positioning, image processing, quality control, and radiation protection.
- Licensure or permits as mandated by state regulations (ND, SD, IA).
- Optional certifications such as CNA or BLS within specified timeframes.
Additional Information
- The role may include on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, with responsibilities expanding based on facility needs.
