About the Role

The Radiologic Technologist provides quality patient care by performing radiology exams accurately to assist radiologists with interpretations. They set up and conduct procedures, operate radiographic equipment, perform quality control, and contribute ideas for departmental growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting radiological procedures proficiently
  • Assisting radiologists during exams
  • Performing quality control and reporting tasks
  • Identifying areas for improvement and communicating with management

Requirements

  • Two years of community college/vocational training or equivalent education
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist certification
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • At least one year of clinical radiologic technology experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospital experience
