Position Overview

Responsible for taking MRI exams and following established procedures for patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Taking MRI exams
  • Following established procedures for patient care and safety

Education

  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program

Licenses/Certifications

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered, required
  • MRI Certification with ARRT, preferred

Experience

  • 1 year of Xray experience, required
  • Minimum of 1 year of MR experience preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Working knowledge of X-ray Equipment and Procedures
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Knowledge of Radiation Safety
  • Ability to follow and apply written direction
  • Attention to detail when performing radiologic exams
  • Computer and keyboarding skills
  • Working knowledge of MRI procedures and protocol
  • Working knowledge of MRI equipment and hazards common to MRI
  • Skill in injecting contrast media
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conducting MRI exams

About Great Falls

Great Falls lies about halfway between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier. It has close access to world class fishing and floating, not only on the Missouri River, but also several other lakes and rivers. It is an active community within 1 hour of two local ski resorts.
