Radiology Technologist (Mobile Imaging)

About the role

The Freedom of Mobile Imaging offers a unique work environment where techs can start and end their days at home. Our services are tailored to meet the needs of patients in skilled nursing, rehab, and private residences.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mobile X-ray and EKG exams at the patient's bedside.
• Navigate to various facilities and residences throughout the Merrillville area in a provided company vehicle.
• Utilize a streamlined mobile workflow to capture and transmit images for rapid interpretation.
• Operate independently as a clinical expert while having a 24/7 support team just a call away.

Requirements

• ARRT Registered, Texas State License & TMB (Required).
• Certificate or Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to troubleshoot and manage your route.
• A compassionate, professional "bedside manner" for patients who cannot travel.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Experience with portable digital equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Skills

• Proficiency in using mobile imaging software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different environments and patient populations.
