Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology under supervision and according to established policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation.
• Apply principles of radiation protection and comply with regulations.
• Assume responsibility for designated area and provide clinical instruction as appropriate.
• Follow Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration (ARRT) – required within 180 days if not already held.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist – required upon hire.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross – required upon hire.

Schedule

• Shift: Night (9 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
