Radiology Technologist - Mid Shift

About the role

Perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research radiologic procedures using ionizing radiation, including radiographic and fluoroscopic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and verify clinical history.
• Ensure correct procedure protocols and optimize technical factors while adhering to ALARA principles for patient safety.
• Administer medications as required.
• Evaluate image quality and assist licensed practitioners.
• Document radiation exposure activities in compliance with regulations.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers on radiologic procedures and safety.
• Support procedures outside the radiology department.
• Maintain all organizational policies and standards.

Requirements

• Graduation from a radiologic technology program; preference for a related bachelor’s degree.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R certification within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrated independence, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, excellence, and collaborative teamwork.
