Radiology Technologist Lead
Maintains Compliance and Documentation
Maintains accuracy and timeliness of documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
Sends high-quality images and documents promptly, ensuring image quality, correct lead markers, and patient data/history.
Supports Patient Care and Workflow
Edits patients about the exam and completes exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
Schedules personnel to provide adequate coverage during all hours of operation, using flexible staffing when necessary.
Collaborates with Healthcare Providers
Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
Ensures Quality and Equipment Maintenance
Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Supports Staff and Provides Training
Serves as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed.
Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching, and provides input for performance evaluations.
Promotes Service Excellence
Promotes a positive patient experience by ensuring service excellence, effective communication, and timely, high-quality care by the team.
Directs Department Workflow
Leads, organizes, and directs daily radiology department workflow of patients, technologists, and students.
