About the role

Radiology Technologist Instructor (Part Time). Charter College, an established and growing career college with locations in Washington, Montana, New Mexico, Alaska, and Southern California is expanding its programs to include Radiology Technology in Reno, NV.

Responsibilities

• Participate in student retention efforts.
• Prepare and provide all lecture, laboratory and clinical instruction according to the required curriculum.
• Maintain communication with Program Manager regarding students' issues.
• Grade assignments, return graded assignments and relevant feedback to students, and assign final grades for all students in a timely manner.
• Provide educational assistance to students during regularly scheduled times (i.e., office hours) or by appointment.
• Substitute in classes when necessary.
• Advise students as it relates to school policies, satisfactory performance, etc.
• Maintain professional expertise (faculty development) to meet accreditation standards by attending educational seminars in professional field, reading current literature, attending online courses, etc.
• Attend all scheduled mandatory meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Required).
• Clinical Diagnostic Radiography: 2 years (Required).
• ARRT(R) or Limited license equivalent (Required).
• Ability to commute to Reno, NV 89521 (Required).
• Ability to relocate to Reno, NV 89521 before starting work (Required).

Pay

Hourly Non-Exempt - Part Time. Wage Range: $45/hr. - $55/hr. Compensation is dependent on experience, knowledge, and education level.

Schedule

4-hour shift, Tuesdays. Day shift.
