Radiology Technologist II X-Ray/CT

About the Role

The staff member is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist. The role requires demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served, understanding principles of growth and development across the lifespan, and assessing data to interpret patient requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations using diagnostic equipment.
• Provide care tailored to the age and needs of patients served.
• Assess and interpret patient data to identify requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology (Associate's Degree preferred).
• Connecticut State Licensure.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Registry-eligible candidates must pass the ARRT exam within 90 days of hire.
• CPR Certified.
